Be On Time

The first rule of thumb for any meeting is to be on time. To get off to a good start, punctuality is the key. Everybody’s time is valuable, and making them wait is not an option. Be aware of your nervous habits so you can keep them in check.

Be Yourself

You do have to fit into the world a little, but don’t ever lose yourself or pretend you’re something you’re not. Being authentic will help the other person build trust and respect you.
